THE KING OF FRANCE’S 1744-1745 CAMPAIGN
By Abbe Rousseau
Translated by G.F. Nafziger
Size: 8.5 x 11
33 pages $15 soft cover
This work was published in 1755 by an ardent supporter of the French. It covers a number of commonly discussed battles, but it also directs its attention to operations in Piedmont and along the Mediterranean coast. Though not highly detailed, it does provide an interesting insight into the French perspective of these campaigns and also relates a number of atrocities supposedly committed by the Austrians.
