This work was originally a secret army study done by S.L.A. Marshall, with an appendix by B.H. Liddell Hart, the British armor author and proponent.  It devotes a great deal of attention to Communist Chinese Force operations, including their tactics.  It contains a critique of a fight by Company E, 27th Infantry Regiment, the use of artificial moonlight, and the rifle grenade, and other tactics and weapons.
