This work contains a short discussion of the battle of Malplaquet as well as several sieges and the maneuvers by the French and Allied armies in 1708 and1709. It’s author, and eyewitness and apparently a British officer, was not identified in either of the two separate works that were combined in this work. These two works were published in 1709 and 1710.
