Comte de Vignolle was Eugene Beauharnais’ chief of staff. This is his account of the 1813-1814 campaigns translated for the first time from the original French into English. It is a detailed account, from the French perspective, of the entire campaign. It contains numerous orders of battle of the French army of Italy and a map of the battle of Mincio. This work is intended to be the first in a series of translations of obscure works on various Napoleonic campaigns.
