This is a two volume work. This war is an obscure part of the wars fought at the beginning of the 18th century. Austria was fighting on two fronts as a result of the War of the Spanish Succession. It faced France to the West and it had a serious insurrection to the East with the Hungarians. This work discusses, in detail, the various sieges and engagements across the Danube in Austria as well as the principle theater of war in Hungary and to the south in Transylvania.
