A CONTEMPORARY ACCOUNT OF THE 1757 CAMPAIGN, by F.A. de Chevrier, Translated by G.F.Nafziger
Size: 8.5″ x 11″
Illustrations: 4 maps
This is actually two works that cover the complete 1757 campaign, but the first was published earlier in 1757 and the second early 1758. Though the author appears to be of French ancestry, the work was published in Frankfurt and the two books appear to have been translated by two different individuals.
It discusses the major battle of Rossbach in some detail and devotes a lot of time discussing the marches and smaller engagements in the region of Hanover.
